I visited Hong Kong after spending time in Bangkok, and the temperature difference was quite a shock. Although not cold, it was cooler than I thought it would be - perhaps equivalent to early May in the UK. Sunny and fairly warm in the day, and cool in the evening. I needed a jumper on hand and decided against wearing shorts.

What's the temperature like in Hong Kong during February?
The temperature is extremely stable in February with average highs of 20℃ and lows just 3℃ lower at 17℃. The UV index will be moderate at this time of year, so not something to worry about for the average person. However, if you're going to be outside for long periods it's worth wearing a broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen and UV-blocking sunglasses. Remember that bright surfaces, such as water and sand increase UV exposure.
