How hot is it in Egypt during September?
The temperature reaches around 37℃ during the daytime in September, falling away to 23℃ at night. The UV index will be very high at this time of year, so you'll need to protect your eyes and skin. Avoid sun exposure between 10am and 4pm where possible. If outdoors, find shade, wear sun-protective clothing, wear UV-blocking sunglasses and generously apply broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every hour or so. Don't be fooled by cloudy skies! Remember that bright surfaces, such as water and sand will increase UV exposure.
Does it rain in Egypt during September?
The answer is no. Egypt is typically bone dry in September. You're not likely to see a thunderstorm during your trip.
Is it windy in Egypt during September?
You're unlikely to experience any strong winds. Expect a gentle breeze that increases to moderate at times during September. With moderate humidity, any breeze will have a very welcome cooling effect.
