Whats great about Munich in August?
August is a great time to visit Munich as you can enjoy the many outdoor spaces that it has to offer. The Englischer Garten (English Garden) is a brilliant place to visit in August as it's a vast, outdoor space with beer gardens, numerous viewpoints of the city and beautiful walks along the river. You can also watch the surfers on the river in the garden which is a fun and unique thing to do in Munich. Al fresco dining is a huge thing in Munich and the lovely weather in August makes it a truly enjoyable experience.
