A holiday to Positano is a magical mix of sunbathing on the beach, sipping cappuccinos, and shopping for designer labels, all against a stunning hillside backdrop. The 11th-century Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta stands tall in the centre of the cobblestoned Flavio Gioia square. From Positano, you can easily visit Sorrento, Amalfi, and the mythical island of Capri.
